FOUNDATION
The foundation of one's program is what the program is based off. For example, a person has to do research and decide what curriculum best fit their school's needs. This is also the time when school counselors present their ideas to the school board and administration for approval. Below are some of the artifacts that I have created to use towards my future school curriculum.

Technology has become more important in society throughout the years and therefore I feel it is important to incorporate technology into my school counseling programs. To incorporate technology into my program I need the entire faculty and staff to be on the same page. One of the ways that I can reach out to the entire faculty is to do a faculty inservice discussing technology and how it can be used in a positive way. The attached PowerPoint discusses Social Media in the Schools.

Here is an example of a faculty inservice presentation involving career development at each level of schooling. It also outlines activities that help students with career awareness, exploration, and planning. This is important to use in professional development so that all faculty and administration understand the overall goals of a career development program.

One of the important parts of developing a program is developing ways to monitor students' success. This is the building blocks of a program and helps a professional school counselor gather data and implement an action plan. Attached is my plan to monitor student success for third graders working on communication skills.
